Dr. Wanda D. Hugget is a clinical psychologist licensed in Georgia and Michigan with over 15 years of experience.  Dr. Hugget is trained to assess and treat children, adolescents, and adults. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Her areas of expertise include working with anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, behavioral problems, stress management, family problems, mood disorders, divorce and custody, trauma, abuse, habit disorders, chronic pain, school related issues, learning disabilities, ADHD, marital and couple’s concerns.

Dr. Hugget is proficient in Psychological Assessments including, Autism Spectrum, Developmental Delays, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, Reactive Attachment, Oppositional Deviant Disorder, Conduct Disorder, and Personality Assessment. Her experience  also includes testifying as an expert in court and evaluating fitness for duty and high level security clearances.

Dr. Hugget is fairly eclectic in her approach to treatment. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client.  She employs aspects of behavioral, cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, play, client-centered and psychodynamic therapy.  Dr. Hugget has also received specialized training to assist military families and personnel. She is certified in empirically based treatments for PTSD including Cognitive Processing Therapy and Prolonged Exposure Therapy.

Dr. Hugget is available to provide therapy and mental health related educational training through group sessions, seminars, workshops, lectures, and classes. She has experience working with medical personnel, public and charter schools, the National Football League, community organizations, religious organizations and various businesses.
