Dr. Sarah Y. Vinson is a triple-board certified Harvard and Emory trained physician who specializes in adult, child & adolescent, and forensic psychiatry. After graduating from the University of Florida College of Medicine with Research Honors and as an Inductee in the Chapman Humanism Honors Society, she completed her general psychiatry training at Cambridge Health Alliance/Harvard Medical School. She then returned to the South to complete fellowships in both child & adolescent and forensic psychiatry at Emory University School of Medicine.

 In addition to providing mental health care services such as psychotherapy, consultation, and psychopharmacology through her private practice, Dr. Vinson is an Assistant Professor in Psychiatry at Morehouse School of Medicine and Adjunct Faculty at Emory University School of Medicine. She has been elected to statewide office by her professional peers in both the Georgia Psychiatric Physician's Association and the Georgia Council of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and currently serves on the boards of both organizations.

With her breadth and depth of training, Dr. Vinson is equipped to serve a variety of clients. She works with them on issues such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, oppositional behaviors, bipolar disorder, school disciplinary issues, post-traumatic stress disorder and autism spectrum disorders. Her approach centers on taking the time to know her clients and families well and individualizing treatment to best serve them.
